Nan Province – On 21 February 2026 at 18:00, a thunderstorm with strong winds occurred in Village No. 2, Lai Nan Subdistrict, Wiang Sa District.

Preliminary reports indicate that 4 houses were damaged, with no injuries or fatalities.

The Nan Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, district authorities, Provincial Electricity Authority, police officers, local administrative organizations, volunteers, and foundation staff have already provided assistance.



Phayao Province – On 21 February 2026 at 16:30, a thunderstorm with strong winds occurred in Pa Faek Subdistrict and Sri Thoi Subdistrict, Mae Chai District.

Preliminary reports indicate that 18 houses were damaged, with no injuries or fatalities.

The Phayao Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, district authorities, Provincial Electricity Authority, police officers, local administrative organizations, volunteers, and foundation staff have already provided assistance.



Chiang Mai Province – On 21 February 2026 at 16:30, a thunderstorm with strong winds affected 3 districts, 5 subdistricts, and 20 villages, including:



Villages No. 5 and 7, Saen Hai Subdistrict, Wiang Haeng District



Villages No. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 10, 11, 13, and 15, San Sai Subdistrict



Village No. 6, Pa Nai Subdistrict



Village No. 8, Ban Pong Subdistrict, Phrao District



Villages No. 3, 5, 6, 18, 21, and 22, Doi Lo Subdistrict, Doi Lo District



Preliminary reports indicate that 20 houses were damaged, with no injuries or fatalities.

The Chiang Mai Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, district authorities, Provincial Electricity Authority, police officers, local administrative organizations, volunteers, and foundation staff have already provided assistance.



Mae Hong Son Province – On 21 February 2026 at 16:00, a thunderstorm with strong winds occurred in Tham Pla – Namtok Pha Suea National Park, including Huai Pha Subdistrict, Villages No. 4 and 10 of Huai Pong Subdistrict, and Mok Cham Pae Subdistrict, Mueang District.

Damage assessments are currently ongoing, with no injuries or fatalities reported.
