Thailand, Storms and Winds in Kamphaeng Phet

On August 5, 2015, at 6:30 p.m., a storm struck Kamphaeng Phet Province, affecting 5 districts, 9 sub-districts, and 14 villages as follows:

Khanu Woralaksaburi District – 5 sub-districts, 10 villages

Bueng Samakkhi District – 1 sub-district, 1 village

Lan Krabue District – 1 sub-district, 1 village

Phran Kratai District – 1 sub-district, 1 village

Mueang District – 1 sub-district, 1 village

Initial reports indicated that 26 houses were damaged.

No injuries or fatalities were reported. The Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, together with military units in the area, district authorities, police, the Provincial Electricity Authority, local administrative organizations, village defense volunteers, volunteers, foundations, and related agencies have conducted damage assessments and provided assistance to those affected.
