Chiang Mai Province – On 20 February 2026 at 20:30, a windstorm occurred affecting 2 districts, 7 subdistricts, and 18 villages, including:
Villages No. 1, 4, 12, and 13 in Ban Luang Subdistrict
Villages No. 4, 5, and 6 in Khuang Pao Subdistrict
Villages No. 1 and 2 in Doi Kaeo Subdistrict
Sop Tia Subdistrict, Chom Thong District
Village No. 5 in Doi Lo Subdistrict
Villages No. 4 and 6 in Yang Khram Subdistrict
Villages No. 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6 in Santi Suk Subdistrict, Doi Lo District
Preliminary reports indicate that 500 houses were damaged, with no injuries or fatalities reported.
