A summer storm occurred in 3 provinces (Tak, Nan, Sukhothai), affecting 14 districts, 44 sub-districts, and 97 villages. Initial reports indicate damage to residential areas.
A total of 199 houses were damaged, with no injuries or fatalities reported, as follows:
1) Tak Province, March 11, 2026, at 5:30 PM: A windstorm occurred in 4 districts, 8 sub-districts, and 30 villages, namely:
Mueang Tak District, Ban Tak District, Sam Ngao District, and Wang Chao District. Initially, 79 houses were damaged.
There were no injuries or fatalities. The Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, Provincial Electricity Authority, district officials, police officers, local administrative organizations, volunteers, disaster relief volunteers, and foundation volunteers,
along with relevant agencies, surveyed the damage and provided initial assistance.
2) Nan Province, March 11, 2026, at 5:00 PM: A windstorm occurred in 2 districts, 3 sub-districts, and 8 villages, namely:
Nan Noi District and Wiang Sa District. Initially, 46 houses were damaged. There were no injuries or fatalities.
Also, the Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, Provincial Electricity Authority, district officials, police officers, local administrative organizations, and volunteers, along with relevant agencies, surveyed the damage and provided initial assistance. Civil Defense Volunteers, Foundations, and related agencies have surveyed the damage and provided initial assistance.
3) Sukhothai Province, March 11, 2026, at 3:30 PM: A windstorm occurred in 8 districts, 33 sub-districts, and 59 villages, including:
Si Satchanalai District, Si Samrong District, Khiri Mat District, Ban Dan Lan Hoi District, Sawankhalok District, Si Nakhon District, Mueang District, and Kong Krailat District.
Initially, 74 houses were damaged. There were no injuries or fatalities. The Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, Provincial Electricity Authority,
district officials, police officers, local administrative organizations, volunteers, Civil Defense Volunteers, Foundations, and related agencies have surveyed the damage
and provided initial assistance.
