Thailand, Storms and Strong Winds in Nakhon Phanom and Chaiyaphum

Windstorms in 2 provinces (Nakhon Phanom, Chaiyaphum), 6 districts, 17 subdistricts, and 66 villages. 459 houses damaged.
1) Nakhon Phanom Province: On March 22, 2026, at 8:20 PM, a windstorm occurred in 4 districts, 14 subdistricts, and 60 villages, including: Tha Bo Songkhram Subdistrict, Si Songkhram Subdistrict, Hat Phaeng Subdistrict in Si Songkhram District; Pla Pak Subdistrict, Nong Hee Subdistrict, Khok Sung Subdistrict, Maha Chai Subdistrict, Kuta Kai Subdistrict, and Khok Sawang Subdistrict in Pla Pak District;
Nangam Subdistrict, Khok Hin Hae Subdistrict, Renu Subdistrict, and Na Kham Subdistrict in Renunakhon District; and Kham Toei Subdistrict in Mueang District. Initially, 439 houses were damaged. There were no injuries or fatalities. Information was gathered from the Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, district officials, police officers, and local administrative organizations. Volunteers, including members of the Disaster Relief Volunteers (DRV), foundations, and related agencies, have surveyed the damage and provided initial assistance.
