Chiang Mai Province, between 25-27 May 68: Heavy rain caused flooding in 6 districts, 16 sub-districts, 36 m, as follows:
Yang Kham Sub-district, Santisuk Sub-district, Doi Lor District, Thung Satok Sub-district, Ban Mae Sub-district, Tha Wang Phrao Sub-district, Thung Tom Sub-district, Ban Klang Sub-district, Bo Luang Sub-district, San Klang Sub-district, San Pa Tong District, Pa Pae Sub-district, Mae Taeng District, Chiang Dao District, Ban Luang Sub-district, Doi Kaeo Sub-district, Ban Pae Sub-district, Chuang Pa Sub-district, Chom Thong District, Hai Ya Sub-district, Mueang District, etc.
Initially, 922 households were affected. There was a landslide.
Traffic routes were closed. The Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Center, Region 15, Chiang Rai, the Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, local military units, districts, police officers, local administrative organizations, volunteers, volunteers, foundations, and related agencies surveyed the damage and provided assistance to quickly open traffic routes and drainage from the area. The situation has now improved.
