- Khao Saming
In Trat Province, on 5-6July 2026, heavy rainfall caused flooding in 1 district, 1 subdistrict, and 4 villages, specifically in Satow Subdistrict, Khao Saming District.
Initially, 19 households were affected, and the road leading to the village was flooded, impacting transportation for 101 households and 410 people. No injuries or fatalities were reported. The Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Center, Region 17, Chanthaburi, provided a water purification truck. A vehicle transporting flood victims carried 200 relief bags.
The Trat Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, police officers, district officials, local administrative organizations, volunteers, disaster relief volunteers, foundations, and related agencies provided assistance and expedited the drainage of water from the area. Water levels reached approximately 80 cm in low-lying areas, affecting houses and access roads.
In Village No. 1, water levels reached 60 cm, the entrance to Village No. 7 was flooded with 30 cm of water, and Tha Chang and Ruenrom alleys had water levels of 20 cm.
The situation is expected to improve within 1-2 days if there is no further heavy rainfall in the area. Currently, water levels are receding.
