Flooding has occurred in 2 provinces (Chanthaburi and Trat), affecting 4 districts, 6 sub-districts, and 18 villages. 170 households and 603 people have been affected, as follows:
1) In Chanthaburi Province, on 16 August, heavy rain caused flooding in 3 districts, 5 sub-districts, and 13 villages, as follows:
Makham District (2 sub-districts, 3 villages), Khlung District (2 sub-districts, 9 villages), and Laem Sing District (1 sub-district, 1 village). Initially, 170 households and 603 people have been affected. There were no injuries or fatalities. The 17th Chanthaburi Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Center, the Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, military units in the district, police, local administrative organizations, volunteers, volunteers, foundations, and relevant agencies have surveyed the damage and provided assistance in moving belongings. The Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation provided 500 relief bags and 500 bottles of bottled water to disaster victims. Water levels are currently receding.
2) Trat Province: On 16 August, heavy rain caused flooding in 1 district, 1 sub-district, and 5 villages, as follows: Khao Saming District (1 sub-district, 5 villages). Initial damage assessments are underway. There were no injuries or fatalities. The 17th Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Center, Chanthaburi Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, military units in the district, police, local administrative organizations, volunteers, volunteers, foundations, and related agencies surveyed the damage and provided assistance in moving supplies. The situation has now resolved.

1) Chanthaburi Province: On 16 August, heavy rain caused flooding in 5 districts, 16 sub-districts, and 60 square meters, as follows:
Makham District (6 sub-districts, 29 square meters), Khao Khitchakut District (3 sub-districts, 5 square meters), Khlung District (4 sub-districts, 20 square meters), Laem Sing District (2 sub-districts, 5 square meters), and Mueang District (1 sub-district, 1 square meter). Initially, 445 households and 1,647 people were affected. No injuries or fatalities were reported.
Regional Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Center Region 17, Chanthaburi, Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office Military units in the district, police, local administrative organizations, volunteers, and volunteers from the Civil Defence Volunteers (CDV), foundations, and related agencies surveyed the damage and provided assistance in relocating items.
The Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation provided 500 relief bags and 500 bottles of drinking water. Water levels are currently stable.
2) Trat Province: On 16 August, heavy rain caused flooding in 1 district, 1 sub-district, and 5 square meters, as follows: Khao Saming District (1 sub-district and 5 square meters). Initial damage assessments are underway. No injuries or fatalities were reported. The DDPM Region 17, Chanthaburi, the Provincial DDPM Office, military units in the district, police, local administrative organizations, volunteers, CDV, foundations, and related agencies surveyed the damage and provided assistance in relocating items. Water levels are currently receding.
