1.3 Flooding

Phetchabun Province: On 14 May 2026, heavy rainfall caused flash floods in 1 district, affecting 3 sub-districts, 11 villages, 1 municipal area, and 1 community, namely Ban Tok Sub-district, Chon Phrai Sub-district, Pa Lao Sub-district, and Phetchabun Municipality in Mueang District.

Preliminary reports indicate that 74 houses were affected. No injuries or fatalities were reported. The Phetchabun Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, district authorities, local administrative organisations, volunteers, civil defence volunteers, foundations, and relevant agencies provided assistance and expedited water drainage operations in the affected areas.

The situation has now returned to normal.
