Description

Flood situation in 3 provinces, 4 districts, 6 sub-districts, 17 villages, 266 households affected as follows:
1) Loei Province, 27 May at 9:00 a.m., heavy rain caused the Phong River to overflow and flood the area of
1 district, 3 sub-districts, 11 villages as follows: Srithan Sub-district (Villages 2, 6, 8, 11, 16), Phu Kradueng Sub-district (Villages 1, 5, 6, 12, 14), Phan Ngoen Sub-district (Village 1), Phu Kradueng District. Initially,
166 households were affected, with no injuries or deaths. The Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Center, Region 14 Udon Thani Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office Military units in the area, districts, police officers, local administrative organizations, volunteers, volunteers, foundations, surveyed the damage and provided assistance to move vulnerable groups to a safe place. The Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation, in cooperation with mobile phone network providers, sent Cell Broadcast and SMS alerts to people in risk areas along the Phong River, Tambon Phu Kradueng and Tambon Si Than, Amphoe Phu Kradueng, Loei Province, to move belongings to higher ground and move vulnerable groups because it is expected that the Phong River will overflow. Currently, the water level is stable.

2) Chaiyaphum Province On 27 May, heavy rain caused flooding in 2 areas, 2 sub-districts, and 3 m. as follows: The embankment of the Dein Kham Pom reservoir was damaged, measuring 3 m. wide, causing flooding in agricultural areas in Tambon Non Thong, Amphoe Kaset Sombun, with an area affected of 23 rai. Water in the river overflowed the banks and flooded the area of ​​Tambon Thung Phra (Villages 3 and 4), Amphoe Khon San, resulting in 100 households affected, 100 rai of agricultural land; no injuries or deaths. The Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Center, Region 5 Nakhon Ratchasima, the Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, the local military unit, the district, police officers, local administrative organizations, volunteers, defense volunteers, foundations inspected the damage, repaired the damaged embankment, and provided assistance to drain water from the area. Currently, the water level has decreased.

3) Phetchabun Province, 26 May at 7:00 p.m., heavy rain caused flooding in 1 district, 1 sub-district, and 3 villages, as follows: Wang Kwang Sub-district (Villages 1, 7, 9), Nam Nao District. Initially, the water eroded 2 bridges and 1 road.
Additional damage is currently being surveyed. No injuries or deaths were reported. The Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Center, Region 9, Phitsanulok, the Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, the local military unit, the district, police officers, local administrative organizations, volunteers, defense volunteers, foundations inspected the damage and provided assistance. The situation has now improved.
