Description

Flooding has occurred in 3 provinces (Chiang Rai, Phetchabun, and Sa Kaeo).

104 households and 385 people have been affected.

1) Chiang Rai Province: On 16 August, heavy rain and flooding occurred in 3 districts, 6 sub-districts, and 14 villages. These areas are:

Mae Chan District (2 sub-districts, 8 villages), Mae Sai District (3 sub-districts, 5 villages), and Mae Fah Luang District (1 sub-district, 1 village). Initially, 57 households and 211 people have been affected. Six power poles were knocked down. There were no injuries or fatalities. The affected areas include the Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, military units in the area, district officials, police, local administrative organizations, volunteers, volunteers, and foundations. Relevant agencies surveyed the damage and provided assistance in relocating items. The situation has now improved.

2) Phetchabun Province: On 16 August, heavy rain caused flooding in 4 districts, 6 sub-districts, and 8 villages, as follows:

Bueng Sam Phan District (1 sub-district, 3 villages), Wichian Buri District (3 sub-districts, 3 villages), Si Thep District (1 sub-district, 1 village), and Mueang District (1 sub-district, 1 village). Initially, 27 households, 100 people, six roads, and one school were affected. There were no injuries or fatalities. The Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, military units in the district, police, local administrative organizations, volunteers, volunteers, and foundations, along with relevant agencies, surveyed the damage and provided assistance in relocating items. The situation has now improved.

3) In Sa Kaeo Province, on 16 August, heavy rain caused flooding in 2 districts, 4 sub-districts, and 7 square meters, as follows:

Wang Nam Yen District (1 sub-district, 4 square meters) and Khlong Hat District (3 sub-districts, 3 square meters). Initially, 20 households and 74 people were affected.

There were no injuries or fatalities. The Prachinburi Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Center Region 3, the Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, military units in the district, police, local administrative organizations, volunteers, volunteers, foundations, and related agencies surveyed the damage and provided assistance.

They are assisting with the removal of belongings. The situation has now improved.
