Thailand, Flooding in Chiang Rai

Chiang Rai Province, July 14, 2015, heavy rain caused flooding in 2 districts, 2 sub-districts, 4 m. as follows: Huai So Subdistrict (Village No. 14, 15, 17) , Chiang Khong District, Por Subdistrict (Village No. 18), Wiang Kaen District. Initially, it resulted in a landslide blocking the route. Number 1093 in the area of km. 68-69, 50 households, 185 people, were affected. No one was injured or killed. The Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Center, Region 15, Chiang Rai, Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, Chiang Khong Branch, district officers, police, local government organizations, volunteers, local defense volunteers, foundation volunteers, along with relevant agencies, surveyed the damage, provided assistance in lifting belongings to higher ground, opening traffic routes, and expediting the drainage of water from the area. The situation has currently improved
