Thailand, Flooding in Chiang Rai

Chiang Rai Province On 5 July, heavy rain caused flooding in 2 districts, 5 sub-districts, 10 villages, 1 municipality, 6 communities as follows: Wiang Chai Sub-district (Village No. 11), Phangam Sub-district (Village No. 12), Wiang Chai District, Chiang Rai Municipality (6 communities), Mae Korn Sub-district (Village No. 5,6,7,8,9,19), San Sai Sub-district (Village No. 1), Pa O Don Chai Sub-district (Village No. 5), Mueang District.
Initially, 30 households were affected. There was flooding on the road surface and agricultural areas. Additional damage is being assessed. No injuries or deaths were reported. The Chiang Rai Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Center, Region 15, Chiang Rai, the Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, the district, police officers, local administrative organizations, volunteers, volunteers, foundations, and related agencies surveyed the damage, provided assistance in draining water from the area, and facilitated traffic. The situation has now improved.
