Description
Chiang Mai Province, July 31, 2026 – August 1, 2026: Continuous heavy rainfall caused flash floods and overflowing rivers.
In 1 district, 2 sub-districts, and 4 villages, namely Sri Dong Yen and Nong Bua sub-districts in Chai Prakan district, 30 households were affected.
There were no injuries or fatalities. The Chiang Mai Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, district officials, police officers, local administrative organizations, volunteers, and disaster relief volunteers,
along with foundations and related agencies, provided assistance and expedited the drainage of water from the affected areas.
The situation has now eased.
