The Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation has declared 20 Thai provinces as drought disaster areas. These provinces includes: Uttaradit, Sukhotai, Phrae, Tak, Nan, Phayao, Sisaket, Chaiyapum, Khon Kaen, Maha Sarakham, Sing Buri, Saraburi, Chainat, Chachoengsao, Chantaburi, Prachinburi, Trang, Chiang Rai, Buri Ram, Phitsanulok and Satun 20,000 people affected in Phitsanulok Thai Authorities is managing the situation
