Description
Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation of Thailand (DDPM) reported strong wind on 15 May 2018, 14:30 local time in Nakhon Phanom municipality, Nakhon Phanom Province. In the municipality, damages were observed in houses, billboards, shops and cars. Initial estimation suggest, 275 people in the vicinity of the wind have been affected. Nakhon Phanom provincial government has provided basic assistance for affected people. In addition, DDPM also reported three additional strong wind incidents resulted in minor damages, as follow: 1) Strong wind in Chaiyaphum, 19 May 2018, 16.50 local time. 2) Strong wind in Ubon Ratchathani, 20 May 2018, 19.00 local time. 3) Strong wind in Nonthaburi, 20 May 2018, 20.00 local time.
