Description

On 06 March 2025, at around 9:40 PM, a magnitude 4.9 earthquake occurred in Wao,

Lanao del Sur, with reported Intensity V, which was felt in various areas. This resulted in

damage to houses and infrastructure.

Subsequently, another earthquake occurred on 08 March 2025, with a magnitude of 5.1,

a depth of focus of 10 km, and tectonic in origin. This earthquake is expected to cause

further damage and aftershocks.

As of 10 March 2025, at 8:00 AM, PHIVOLCS had recorded 37 aftershocks.
