Description

On 31 August 2024, 11:00 AM, a Low Pressure Area developed over the Philippine Sea and will bring moderate to heavy
rains over Eastern Visayas, Caraga, Davao de Oro, and Davao Oriental.
On 01 September 2024, 8:00 AM, the Low Pressure Area east of Eastern Visayas has developed into Tropical
Depression "ENTENG".
At 2:00 PM, Tropical Depression “ENTENG” maintains its strength as it moves northwestward.
At 5: 00 PM, “ENTENG” slightly intensifies over the waters northeast of Northern Samar.
At 8:00 PM, “ENTENG” maintains strength and is about to make landfall or pass very close to Catanduanes
At 11:00 PM, “ENTENG” intensifies into a Tropical Storm near Catanduanes.
On 02 September 2024, 2:00 AM, “ENTENG” maintains its strength while moving northwestward over the coastal waters
of Vinzons, Camarines Norte.
At 5:00 AM, “ENTENG” slightly intensifies as it decelrates over the coastal waters of Vinzon, Camarines Norte.
Furthermore, the enhanced Southwest Monsoon will bring moderate to intense rainfall in other areas of Luzon and
Visayas (especially along the western portions).

TCWS No. 02: The northeastern portion of Camarines Norte, the northeastern portion of Camarines Sur, the eastern
portion of Cagayan including Babuyan Islands, the eastern portion of Isabela, the northern portion of Aurora, Polillo
Islands, the eastern portion of Quirino, and the eastern portion of Kalinga.
TCWS No. 01: The southern portion of Batanes, the eastern portion of Abra, Apayao, the rest of Kalinga, the eastern
portion of Mountain Province, the eastern portion of Ifugao, the rest of Cagayan, the rest of Isabela, the rest of Quirino,
the eastern portion of Nueva Vizcaya, the rest of Aurora, the eastern portion of Nueva Ecija, the eastern portion of
Bulacan, the eastern portion of Rizal, the eastern portion of Laguna, the northern and southern portions of Quezon,
Marinduque, the rest of Camarines Norte, the rest of Camarines Sur, Albay, Sorsogon, Catanduanes, and the northern
portion of Masbate incuding Ticao and Burias Islands.
