Description
On August 8 2025, at around 3:00 AM, a flash flood incident was experienced in
Barangay Pinguiaman, Lambayong, Sultan Kudarat because of heavy rains brought by
Southwest Monsoon. The floodwaters have already subsided as of 15 August 2025, 4:00
pm.
On 10 August 2025, at around 5:00 pm, heavy rainfall with strong winds caused several
damaged houses in Kidapawan City.
On 11 August 2025, at around 4:00 pm, heavy rainfall with strong winds was also
experienced in Barangays Poblacion, Simsiman, Esperanza, Liberty, and Lopez Jaena,
Norala, South Cotabato. The same day, a drowning incident was also reported in Brgy.
Danlag, Tampakan, South Cotabato causing 2 dead persons.
