Philippines, Flooding, Landslides, and Storms in Regions I, III, and CAR (TC DANAS and Southwest Monsoon)

On 29 June 2025, 8:00 PM, the monitored Low Pressure area (LPA 6h) has entered inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) with LOW potential to

develop into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.

On 30 June 2025, 8:00 PM, the LPA 6h inside PAR had "MEDIUM" potential to develop into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.

On 01 July 2025, 2:00 PM, the LPA 6h inside PAR still had a "MEDIUM" potential to develop into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours. Meanwhile,

another Low Pressure Area (LPA 7a) was monitored outside the PAR and has a "HIGH" potential to develop into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.

At 8:00 PM, LPA 6h inside PAR, had a "HIGH" potential to develop into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours. Meanwhile, LPA 7a outside has

developed into a Tropical Depression (TD).

On 02 July 2025, 2:00 AM, LPA 6h inside PAR still had a "HIGH" potential to develop into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours. Due to the LPA's close

proximity to the landmass, hoisting of Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 was possible along the eastern sections of Northern and Central Luzon as soon as it

develops into a TD. Meanwhile, TD (formerly LPA 07a, was monitored East Northeast of Extreme Northern Luzon.

At 8:00 PM, LPA 6h inside PAR had a "MEDIUM" potential to develop into a TD within the next 24 hours. Meanwhile, the TD (formerly LPA 07a) being

monitored outside PAR has developed into a Tropical Storm (TS).

On 03 July 2025, 8:00 AM the LPA 6h inside the PAR has a "MEDIUM" potential to develop into a TD within the next 24 hours. Meanwhile, Tropical Storm

{MUN} (formerly LPA 07a) was still being monitored outside the PAR.

At 8:00 PM, LPA 6h inside the PAR had a “HIGH" potential to develop into a TD within the next 24 hours. Meanwhile, Tropical Storm "MUN" (formerly LPA 07a)

has exited the monitoring domain of PAGASA.

On 04 July 2025, 2:00 AM, the Low Pressure area (LPA 6h) inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) has developed into Tropical Depression

"BISING".

At 2:00 PM, Tropical Depression "BISING" exited PAR but still being monitored outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

At 8:00 PM, Tropical Depression "BISING" developed into a Tropical Storm and remained outside PAR.

On 05 July 2025, 11:00 AM, Tropical Storm “DANAS” (formerly BISING) was slowly turning east northeastward over the sea west of extreme Northern Luzon.

Though its trough was less likely to bring significant heavy rainfall over extreme Northern Luzon, it will continue to bring scattered rains and thunderstorms over

Babuyan and Babuyan Islands in the next 24 hours. Furthermore, similar weather conditions will be experienced over Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, CAR, Central

Luzon, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, and the rest of Cagayan Valley due to the Southwest Monsoon.

At 8:00 PM, "DANAS" (formerly BISING) has developed into a Severe Tropical Storm and remains outside PAR.
