On 19 June 2023, at 5:00 PM, a flooding incident was reported by MDRRMO Paglat due to the overflowing of the Buluan and Ligawasan Rivers caused by the incessant rain.
On 20 June 2023, between 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, the Municipality of Ampatuan experienced heavy rainfall which resulted to flashflood incidents in various barangays.
As of 21 June 2023, at 12:00 PM, the water level has gradually subsided in some areas of Ampatuan, Maguindanao except in Brgy. Malatimon where the water level is still around 1 to 4 feet.
As of 21 June 2023, at 5:00 PM, the MDRRMO of Datu Montawal reported a flooding incident due to continuous heavy rains resulting in overflowing of the Rio Grande de Mindanao river thereby causing flooding to low-lying Barangays in the said municipality.
As of 21 June 2023, at 7:00 PM, a flooding incident was reported by the MDRRMO of Shariff Saydona Mustapha due to continuous heavy rains resulting in the rising of water level in Liguasan Marsh, Rio Grande River, and other tributaries traversing within the municipality and affecting the low-lying barangays.
As of 21 June 2023, at 5:00 AM, the Municipality of Pagalungan was also affected by flooding due to the continues heavy rainfall in the upper portion of North Cotabato Source: MDRRMO-Pagalungan
As of 21 June 2023, the Municipality of Sultan Sa Barongis was also affected by flooding due to the heavy rainfall which brought about by Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ).
AFFECTED POPULATION:
-A total of 19,340 families were affected. Ongoing validation on the number of families/persons.
DAMAGE TO AGRICULTURE:
-Ongoing validation on the total number of hectares of damaged agricultural crops.
