Description
Since 19 November 2025, a series of moderate to heavy rains brought by the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) has caused widespread flooding in all eleven (11) barangays of the municipality of Rajah Buayan, Maguindanao del Sur. A rainfall accumulation of 30 mm was recorded last night in Poblacion Zapakan using a manual rain gauge. No evacuations, casualties, or injuries have been reported. Hence, potential damage to agricultural crops is likely, particularly in barangays that produce rice and corn.
AFFECTED POPULATION:
-A total of 1,539 families / 9,388 persons were affected.
