Description
On 10 October 2021, the Municipalities of San Isidro and Governor Generoso in Davao
Oriental experienced tidal flooding due to localized thunderstorms. The tidal waves
were estimated to reach a height of eight (8) feet.
A total of 8,203 families or 24,166 persons were affected in 21 Barangays in Region
XI
A total of 550 families or 2,005 persons sought temporary shelter in 10
evacuation centers
A total of 101 houses were damaged; of which, seven (7) are totally damaged and 94
are partially damaged
A total of ₱2,523,050.00 worth of assistance was provided by DSWD to the affected
families
