Description
On 29 November 2023, moderate to heavy rains due to the Easterlies resulted in flooding in some barangays in Malita, Davao Occidental.
Affected Population
-A total of 416 families/1,336 persons were affected, of which 396 families/1,236 persons are currently staying inside 3 ECs.
Damaged Houses
-44 houses (17 totally and 27 partially) were damaged
Roads and Bridges
-One (1) bridge was reported not passable to all vehicles
Power Interruption
-Two (2) brgys. in Malita, Davao Occidental experienced power interruption.
Communication lines
- One (1) telecompany was reported non-operational
Damage Infrastructure
-Two (2) damaged infrastructure amounting to Php 21,160,000.00 were reported.
Class suspension:
-One (1) municipality declared class suspension.
