Description
Issued on 19 January 2026 at 4:00 PM, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated
rainshowers and thunderstorms may have caused possible flash floods or landslides
during severe thunderstorms caused by Localized Thunderstorms in Metro Manila
and the rest of the country.
On the same day at around 7:00 PM, continuous heavy rainfall brought by Localized
Thunderstorms caused flooding in several barangays in the municipalities of Mabini
and Maco, Davao de Oro.
In response, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), through
its Field Office (FO) XI, is coordinating with the affected Local Government Units
(LGUs) to assess the needs of the affected families and individuals.
