Philippines, Flooding in Bukidnon (Region X)

On September 12, 2025, a flooding incident was reported by MDRRMO Don Carlos, Bukidnon affecting three (3) barangays namely, Kasigkot, Calaocalao and New Nongnongan.

On September 14, 2025, Light to Moderate rains were experienced throughout the region while at around 5:04 PM, Malaybalay City experienced heavy rainfall and at around 7:57 PM the same day, CDRRMO Malaybalay City received calls which report that a flooding incident occurred at Brgy. Casisang and Landslides were reported from Barangays Miglamin and Apo Macote, Malaybalay City.

The next day, at around 8:00 AM, September 15, 2025, CDRRMO Valencia City received a call that a flooding incident was reported from Brgy. Catumbalon, Valencia City of which, affected residents were evacuated at the nearby Brgy. Covered court.

On September 17, 2025, evening at 8:25 PM, Malaybalay City, Valencia City and Maramag, Bukidnon, reported incidents of flooding which inundated their respective Brgys. And flooded the Central Mindanao University Area.

On September 18, 2025, a landslide incident occurred at Songco, Lantapan, Bukidnon and was immediately cleared by the MDRRMO

RELATED INCIDENTS:
-A total of five (5) flooded areas were reported. Of which, all are already subsided.

AFFECTED POPULATION:
-A total of 2,801 families / 8,329 persons were affected. Of which, 137 families / 685 persons are currently staying in 2 ECs while 58 families / 272 persons stayed outside ECs.

ROADS AND BRIDGES
-A total of four (4) road sections were affected. Of which, three (3) road sections are already passable.

DAMAGED HOUSES
-A total of 512 (101 totally / 411 partially) damaged houses were reported.

DAMAGE AND LOSSES TO AGRICULTURE:
-A total of PhP72,800.00 worth of damage and losses to agriculture was incurred.

DAMAGE TO INFRASTRUCTURE:
-A total of one (1) damaged infrastructure was reported.

CLASS SUSPENSION:
-A total of one (1) municipality declared class suspension in Maramag, Bukidnon.

-Sangguniang Panlungsod City of Valencia Resolution 173 – 2025 (Special Session). A resolution declaring Valencia City, Bukidnon under a State of Calamity.
