Description
On 24 February 2023 around 5:20 PM, moderate with occasionally heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds due to thunderstorms were experienced in Zamboanga del Sur which resulted in flooding and landslide incidents.
Related Incidents: 9 flooded areas and 2 rain-induced landslides were reported in Zamboanga del Sur
Affected Population: A total of 1,154 families / 5,770 persons were affected
Casualty: 1 injured person was reported
Roads and Bridges: 2 roads were reported not passable
Power: 1 brgy experienced power interruption
Damaged Houses: 2 partially damaged houses were reported
Pre-emptive Evacuation: 44 families were pre-emptively evacuated
