Description

Since 30 December 2022, light to moderate and occasional heavy rains have been experienced in the region due to the Northeast Monsoon.

As of reporting time January 8, 2023, the Cagayan Valley Region is currently experiencing cloudy skies with scattered light rains caused by Northeast Monsoon.

Impact:
- 8 flooded areas / 1 landslide incident
- 1,636 families / 5,560 persons affected. Of which, 254 persons displaced
- 7 roads / 23 bridges affected
- Kayapa, Nueva Vizcaya experience power interruption
- 1 partially damaged house
- 9 municipalities suspended classes
