Description
On 12 October 2022, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or
thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms prevailed over Metro Manila and the
rest of the country which may have brought possible flashfloods or landslides during
severe thunderstorms. On the same date at around 4AM, a big wave incident occurred
along the area of Purok 2, Brgy. Sabangan, Caramoran, Catanduanes
Affected Area: Purok 2, Brgy. Sabangan, Caramoran, Catanduanes
Impact:
- 157 persons or 30 families are affected
- 157 persons are internally displaced (13 persons evacuated to evacuation center and 144 persons went to their relative)
Response:
- One evacuation center inside the country was built
- A total of ₱14,315.18 (~717 USD) worth of assistance was provided to the affected families
