Description
The low pressure area was estimated at 8 AM 3 July 2012 about 50 Km West Southwest of Manila. This low pressure situation brings scattered to widespread rains over Central and Southern Luzon including National Capital Region (NCR), and Western Visayas. Based on NDRRMC situation report no.13 released at 6 AM 6 July 2012, there are several incidents caused by the effect of low pressure area mainly due to heavy rains and flooding as follow: - the collapse of brick wall in Valenzuela City causing 2 dead, 2 injured, and 4 houses were damaged - Flooding in Rosario and Cavite City, Region IVA - Flooding in Bombon and Camaligan, Region V affecting 840 families or 4200 persons - There are cancellation of classes at 24 municipalities - Landslide in taytay, Rizal - Flashflood in Alabat, Quezon - Landslide in Antipolo - Rockslide in La Trinidad Benguet Total Casualties are 4 death, 6 injured, and 1 missing with additional affecting 69 families or 308 persons in region IV-A. NDRRMC and RDRRMC were handling the situation
