Description

Social worker Ministry of Relief and Resettlement; Disaster Management Department; Officials from Mohnyin District Administration Office visited Hpakant Township on (24-9-2020) and (25-9-2020). Warazup Village Tract; Due to incessant rains in Shadu Zup village and the flooding of Moe Kaung creek, the water level in the lower part of Shadu Zup village and the Myitkyina-Tanai road will be 12 feet deep. A total of 2,875 people from 410 households were temporarily displaced by the floods. 2,400,000 kyats for building materials for 23 floating houses; 7-day food allowance (6,037,500 kyats); Total grant (8,437,500 kyats) 17 relief items for 23 households and 2,875 masks on 27-9-2020
