Update as of 5 December 2017 = National Disaster Management Agency of Malaysia (NADMA) reported all evacuation sites in Perlis have closed and all affected people returned to original dwellings. = Original report from 28 Nov 2017 = Heavy rains that showered State of Perlis, Malaysia, on 28 November 2017 resulted in flooding in some area. According to the NADMA, 156 people had to be evacuated and temporarily displaced due to the flooding (or around 35 families). The affected people were evacuated to Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK). State Government of Perlis stated that in some areas, water height measured at around 4.57 meter.
