Update as of 5 December 2017 = National Disaster Management Agency of Malaysia (NADMA) reported all evacuation sites in Perak have closed and all affected people returned to original dwellings. National Disaster Management Agency (NADMA) of Malaysia reported major flooding in State of Perak on 30 November 2017. According to NADMA, 1,198 people were affected and had to be temporarily displaced (230 families). The flood victims were sheltered in 6 evacuation centers; 4 located in Muallim and 2 located in Manjung, i.e. at Sekolah Agama Tebuk Yan, Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Datuk Ishak, SK Sungai Batu, SK Nakhoda Mohammad, Dewa Orang Ramai batu 8 Segari and SK Muhammad Saman. It was reported that two local bridges were damaged due to the flooding i.e. 1) bridge between Kampung Gesau and Ulu Slim, 2) bridge between Kampung Sungai Muda and Kampung Lintah.
