National Disaster Management Agency of Malaysia (NADMA) reported significant flooding in State of Terengganu, which started on 1 January 2018 20:22 local time. Two municipalities are affected namely Dungun and Kemaman.
As of 5 January 2018, 2,375 people (599 families) are affected and being evacuated to 17 evacuation centers in two affected municipalities.
