Description
Due to continuous heavy rainfall caused by the beginning of Southeast Monsoon in the area, several states have experienced flooding. The affected states/provinces include: Perlis, Selangor and Kedah IMPACT 562 people or 222 families evacuated in 18 evacuation centre Most impacted area is in Padang Besar, Perlis indicated by number of people evacuated (297 people) RESPONSES Local authorities responded to this situation by providing relief and temporary evacuation.
