Description
National Disaster Management Agency of Malaysia (NADMA) reported significant flooding in State of Sabah, which started on 3 January 2018 16:06 local time and affecting Membakut municipality. As of 5 January 2018, 567 people (197 families) are affected and being evacuated to two evacuation centers in town. The flood also forced 16 schools to remain closed. NADMA and InfoBanjir Malaysia provide near-real time status of affected people and evacuation centers.
