Description
Strong wind events struck Takalar Regency twice in one week, i.e. on 16 and 19 September 2018 as reported by news media and Ministry of Health. On 16 September, the strong wind destroyed houses of people in South Polongbangkeng district. Meanwhile, the strong wind on 19 September damaged houses in North Galesong District. In total, around 165 people were affected in both district. Seven houses were totally destroyed, while 5 houses partially damaged. BPBD Takalar Regency and non government organiztaions have provided assistance.
