Description
National Disaster Management Authority (BNPB) reported that at least 100 houses have been damaged due to strong wind (angin puting beliung) in Pemalang Regency, Central Java. The disaster occurred on Sunday, 31 December 2017 at 16.50 UTC+7. At least 14 persons are reported to be injured and have been treated at Ashari Pemalang Hospital. Local Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Pemalang, Indonesian Army (Kodim 0711) and local communities have opened temporary evacuation center and public kitchen at Madrasah Diniyah RT 04/RW 06. This strong wind disaster has been managed by local government and related stakeholder.
