Description
Local Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Kota Banjar Baru, South Kalimantan Province, and Ministry of Health reported a localized strong wind on 10 September 2018. It affected around 100 people in Liang Anggang district. The strong wind was reported exposing the settlement for around 15 minutes. A total of 32 people were temporarily displaced as their houses were damaged. BPBD Kota Banjarbaru reported 16 houses were damaged and 1 was totally destroyed. There were no fatalities reported due to this incident. BPBD KotaBanjarbaru has provided necessary relief items for the affected people. Initial estimation of damage and losses were around IDR 150 million.
