Description
Strong wind (angin puting beliung) caused hundreds of houses damaged in three districts of Cilacap regency, Central Java, Indonesia. The three districts are Dayeuhluhur, Wanareja and Majenang.
According to local disaster management agency (BPBD) of Cilacap, as of 3 February 2018, the strong wind has caused 183 houses damaged.
1) In Dayeuhluhur, 161 houses damaged in Data, Hanum, Bingkeng, Dayeuhluhur and Panulisan villages.
2) In Wanareja, 15 houses damaged in Limbangan and Sidamulya villages were damaged
3) In Majenang, 7 houses in Ujungbarang, Cibeunying and Salebu villages were damaged.
BPBD Cilacap distributed relief items and shelter repair kit to the affected population
