Description
National Disaster Management Authority (BNPB) spokeperson reported damaging strong wind in Cilacap regency, Central Java province on 26 January 2018. Cilacap office of Agency for Meteorology Climatology and Geophysics reported the wind was recorded around 78 kph.
The strong wind damaged 135 houses in Nusawungu, Maos, Binangun, Adipala, Sampang and Kroya districts. As of 27 January 2018, local disaster management agency (BPBD) was still assessing the damage and provided assistance.
