Floods in Semarang City, Central Java Province ➢ Chronology: Triggered by high intensity heavy rain that occurred on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at 18.00 WIB, causing the emergency embankment to break in the Dinar Indah area so that water overflowed into residential areas and the Kali Kreo river overflowed into residential areas. ➢ Location: (2 Districts / 3 Villages) ● Tembalang District - Rowosari Village - Meteseh Village ● Ngaliyan District - Kalipancur ➢ Fatalities: ● ± 303 families / 1,034 people affected (data collection)
➢ Material Losses: ● ± 303 houses affected (data collection) ➢ Efforts: ● Semarang City Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) conducted a Rapid Assessment ● Semarang City BPBD coordinated with cross-sectoral agencies, ● Semarang City BPBD distributed logistics to affected residents ➢ Current Condition: Saturday, March 14, 2026 ● Water has receded ● Logistics are sufficient ● Operational Plan, Sunday, March 15, 2026: material cleanup
