Floods in Nganjuk District, East Java Province
Chronological:
• On March 25, 2021, at 19.00 WIB, an embankment broke the Bendo Krosok and Mlinjo rivers.
• Overflowing water inundated roads and settlements in 2 villages.
Location:
District: Nganjuk
Sub-District: Prambon
Village: Mojoagung, Bandung
Fatalities:
• 270 households affected
Material Disadvantages:
• ± 270 housing units were inundated
• 1 unit of the embankment is broken, measuring ± 7 meters long, ± 4 meters wide, 3.5 meters high
• water surface height: ± 10 - 40 cm
Effort:
• TRC BPBD Nganjuk District conducted data collection at the affected locations
• Monitoring the development of water levels
• Coordination with local village officials
