Description
➢ Chronology: Triggered by high intensity rain, the Aek Latong river discharge increased and the culverts became blocked, causing the overflow to flood residents' homes. Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at 23.00 WIB
➢ Location:
● Hutabargot District
- Bangun Sejati Village
● Nagajuang District
- Tambiski Nauli Village
➢ Casualties:
● ± 35 families / 140 people affected
➢ Material Losses:
● ± 35 houses affected
● 1 prayer room affected
● ± 5 hectares of agricultural land affected
● Water level: ± 100 cm
➢ Efforts:
● BPBD Mandailing Natal Regency coordinates with village heads, sub-district heads and related agencies
● BPBD Mandailing Natal Regency goes to the location of the incident to conduct a rapid assessment
● Rapid Reaction Team - PB BPBD Mandailing Natal Regency has worked together to clean the prayer room.
● Request from the Village through the Village Head It is hoped that dredging of rivers and gutters will be carried out due to the shallowing of the river, especially in the area of the blocked culverts. It is estimated that if it is not repaired immediately, it will cause flooding to occur again in Bangun Sejati Village

● Flood Conditions in Nagajuang District and Hutabargot District have gradually receded.
