➢ Chronology: Triggered by high intensity rain that occurred from Tuesday, March 17, 2026 until the early hours of Wednesday, March 18, 2026, causing the Mentarang River, Malinau River, Sesayap River, and Bengalun River to overflow with materials such as wood, twigs, mud, and sand, causing flooding in several villages and sub-districts in Malinau Regency on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at 01:50 WITA.
