➢ Chronology: Heavy rain accompanied by strong winds that occurred on Sunday afternoon (8/9) until night caused 3 rivers in Binjai City (Binjai, Mencirim and Bangkatan) to experience a drastic increase and flooding occurred in several places and there were fallen trees that blocked the road.

➢ Location:
● Binjai Selatan District
- Rambung Barat Village
- Binjai Estate Village
● Binjai Kota District
- Setia Village
- Kartini Village

➢ Casualties:
● 461 families/ 2,231 people affected
with details:
● Binjai Selatan District:
- Rambung Barat Village: 177 families/ 885 people
- Binjai Estate Village: 54 families/ 256 people
● Binjai Kota District
- Setia Village: 210 families/ 1,020 people
- Kartini Village: 20 families/ 70 people

➢ Efforts:
● Pusdalops continues to coordinate with the village and sub-district in conducting updates post-disaster related data
● The Binjai City BPBD Task Force is still in the flood-affected sub-districts and remains on standby at the flood disaster location to assist residents if needed in carrying out evacuations.
● Coordinating with the TNI and POLRI for the safety and comfort of residents
● Coordinating with the Binjai Health Office for health services if residents need assistance and medicines
● Pusdalops monitors weather forecasts and early warnings from the BMKG Web to convey to the Community
● BPBD opens a public kitchen post on Jalan Jambi, Rambung Barat Sub-district, South Binjai District
