Description
As reported by BNPB, several districts in West Java were flooded due to the high rainfall intensity. Cirebon, Bekasi, Bogor, Subang, Karawang and Indramayu district were reportedly affected. In Karawang, 108 villages have been flooded and 182,830 people have been evacuated. Meanwhile in Subang (as of 21 Jan), around 188,189 people being affected by flood. In Indramayu, 2 people were reported dead and 4,600 being evacuated due to the incident. In total, impact of flood in West Java Province are: - 2 death and 3 missing in Indramayu - 375,619 people were affected - 187,430 evacuees - disruption to the national road The local authority has set up command post and evacuation centre in several locations for the victims. Logistic supplies are also distributed.

The platform is open for public, which means that the public can submit information about any hazard and disaster to the AHA Centre. Thereafter, the AHA Centre will verify and validate any submitted information to ensure the accuracy of the data inputs. The AHA Centre can also add new information when relevant and as necessary.
