Description
The flooding in Tebing Tinggi City, North Sumatra Province, was caused by the very high rainfall in the upstream areas of the Bahilang and Padang rivers, namely in Simalungun Regency and Serdang Bedagai Regency, which led to the overflow of the Padang and Bahilang rivers. This resulted in flooding across various areas of Tebing Tinggi City. Water levels rose and began inundating parts of the city on Thursday, 27 November 2025, at 06:00 WIB.
