Description

High rainfall intensity and poor drainage system trigger flooding in Tapin Region, South Kalimantan on 31 October 2020 0430 hrs local time (GMT+8). 188 house submerged with 30 – 50 cm inundation. Affected areas : • Lokpaikat Sub-region - Bataratat Village - Binderang Village - Lokpaikat Village - Bitahan Village • North Tapin Sub-region - Rangda Malingkung Village - Rantau Kiwa Village Affected Populations: • 150 Families • 428 People Actions taken by the Local Disaster Management Authority (BPBD Tapin) - The response team conduct rapid assessment, coordinate with relevant agencies and evacuate the people. - BPBD Tapin and Social Agency has established a common kitchen - BPBD Tapin has distributed logisrtic relief items to the affected people. Latest situation : • Weather condition is cloudy • The flood begin to recede with inundation level at 10 -30 cm Source: BPBD Tapin
