Description
Heavy rainfall in South Tangerang Regency, Banten Province, on Monday (March 3) at 11:20 PM local time caused flooding in five districts.
The affected districts include East Ciputat, Pondok Aren, Pamulang, Ciputat, and North Serpong. The Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of South Tangerang Regency reported that 1,870 houses were impacted by the flooding.
BPBD South Tangerang Regency deployed rubber boats for the mobilization and evacuation of affected residents. As of this morning (March 4), visual observations indicate that the floodwaters have not yet receded.
